  • 95—School age Day Camp is back and going strong! Our 95 campers, at two sites, are enjoying the fun of summer camp with some modifications. The kids are safely having a great time! Parents have thanked us for giving their children some safe and “normal” summer fun.

And in addition to housing and a range of amenities including full membership, our residents have access to a range of supportive services:

  • Job searching and resume building
  • Budgeting and payment planning for rent
  • Referrals for mental health and substance abuse support
  • Transportation
  • One-on-one case management
  • Regular wellness checks and access to medical care

The Residence program receives no government subsidies, however your generous donations and support, especially during this difficult time, has allowed us to provide safe housing, additional financial support, and day to day supportive services.

Your membership fees provide an important financial base for McGaw and our community. These fees support access to health and wellness for those who need it. Access to programs such as Early Childhood Education, Camp Echo, Summer Learning, MetaMedia, and wellness programs in Residence are only possible through the additional generosity of our members and donors. Please consider making a gift.

MCGAW IS LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY!
McGaw continues to enhance and follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols. Staff and members are screened each time they seek to enter the facility. All members (and staff) have their temperature checked. We will also ask you several health screening questions before you can enter the facility. Please note that in keeping with McGaw’s travel policy informed by https://globalepidemics.org/key-metrics-for-covid-suppression/, we will ask all members and staff if they have recently traveled to any international or domestic area considered a “hot spot.” If so, we are asking our staff and members to stay home for 14 days after returning to Illinois.
