Subject: Knitlet - the 5th one

Hello Friend,

Today's pattern is reminding me of a flower garden. I know it looks like a lot of nupps. And you're right, it is a lot.

I'm on the roll. There will be one more swatch with nupps and then we're moving on with something else ;)

For this swatch, I used Malabrigo Lace yarn and 2 mm needles (US 0 / UK 14). If you want a lacier look then use a bit larger needles.

Here's the swatch:
The pattern is worked over 18+18+1 stitches and 24 rows.

So for the good size shawl I would plan for 8 pattern repeats (8x18=144 sts; 144+18+1=163), and add the edging sts 5 per edge (163+5+5=173). 173 stitches to cast on...

Find the in depth nupp stitch tutorial here

For this swatch, I casted on 43 stitches - 3 for edging, 37 for the pattern, and 3 for edging.

WS - wrong side;
