Subject: Knitlet - the 13th one

Hello Friend,

I'm so delighted to knit with you today :)

Yarn for August is Malabrigo Lace ("Holly Hock", 148) and I used 2 mm needles (US 0 / UK 14) with that. I wish I'd used a size larger needles though.

Here's the swatch:
The pattern is worked over 15+7 stitches and 12 rows. The pattern itself is quite simple, but you have to be careful with gathered stitches. They tend to be forgotten.

For this swatch, I casted on 43 stitches - 3 for edging (simple garter stitch one), 37 for the pattern (total of 2 pattern repeats,) and 3 for edging.
Abbreviations:

RS - right side;
WS - wrong side;
K, k - knit on RS, purl on WS;
P, p - purl on WS, knit on RS;
yo - yarn over;
ssk - slip, slip, knit together through back loop;
k2tog - knit 2 stitches together;
3-3 - 3 from 3: knit 3 sts together (do not slip off from left needle), do a yarn over and knit those 3 sts together again; now you can slip your left hand needle out;
Pattern:

Row 1 (RS): (P2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2, k8), p2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2.
Row 2 (WS) and all the WS rows: Purl
Row 3: (K1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k9), k1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k1.
Row 5: (P2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2, k8), p2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2.
Row 7: (K1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k5, yo, k2tog, k2), k1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k1.
Row 9: (P2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2, k2, yo, ssk, k2tog, yo, k2), p2, k1, 3-3, k1, p2.
Row 11: (K1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k5, yo, k2tog, k2), k1, 3-3, k1, p1, k1, 3-3, k1.
