Subject: Hey Friend -- Catch "Writers Under Glass" During NaNoWriMo
Victors may get to write history, but novelists get to write/right reality.
Hi Friend --
November is National Novel Writing Month where scribblers all across the planet commit to writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days ( Personally, I prefer to pile up my words bit-by-bit throughout the year. So I'm usually pretty oblivious to the event.

This year, though, I talked with Jane at Appletree Books who told me about their special promotion for NaNoWriMo. For the third year, now, the independent bookstore is inviting writers of all ages, all formats, and all genres in the Greater Cleveland area to be one of their featured artists of the month by writing in the storefront windows.

Huh…writer under glass. It sounded intriguing, so I'm going to give it a go on November 26 & 27 from 10am-12pm. I'll no doubt be working on my latest novel, Article 15. Stop on by if you get a chance and wave--but don't tap on the glass.

Hmmm…I wonder what my December "Writers Write" meme might be.

I'm also starting out the month at the Elyria Public Library's "Cascade of Authors" on November 3 from 1p to 4p.
So it goes…

My little sister, Karen, finished her first novel, Once Upon a Charlie, this summer and it is being released in paperback and eBook on November 17. I'd be remiss (not to mention a pretty bad big brother) if I didn't put in a friendly family plug.

Karen worked as a 911 Dispatcher, Court Runner, Legal Secretary and Auxiliary Police Officer. She lives and writes in St. Louis, Missouri.

The release date for Once Upon a Charlie is November, 17, 2018. The eBook is available for the pre-order price of only $.99. Regular price is $3.99.

Lisa Burton, a sci-fi character in a C.S. Boyack novel, interviewed Q, a sci-fi character of my own creation from the Murder by Munchausen Series, on her fictitious radio show. It was a hoot to do. Check it out:

What I've Read
One of the best ways you can help the writers you enjoy is to post reviews of their books everywhere you can on line.
Oh my gosh, I haven't had this much fun reading a book in a long, long time.  Christoper Moore's tale might not be everybody's cup of tea--or slug of joe--but it was right up my own foggy alley.

Thank you for supporting all of us writers out here in the wilderness. If you have any questions or comments just reply to this email.
