| | Are you ready to put âNature on your mindâ?
From 24 to 27 September, Kemeri National Park in Latvia will host the 2019 EUROPARC Conference. As every year, this will be the key annual event for nature professionals in Europe: gathering international experts to discuss thematic issues related to nature management, cultural heritage conservation and sustainable development inside Protected Areas.
With 360 delegates from 38 countries attending, the Conference will focus on the role of nature in human health and also address the importance of nature in other aspects of life, such as politics, business, arts and landscape planning.
Entitled âNature on your mind â understanding our valuesâ, the Conference will highlight how Protected Areas and nature-based activities can maximise health benefits and social well-being. International experts will inspire delegates from multiple sectors and disciplines, bonded by the common principle that nature is of fundamental importance to their work, quality of life and business success. On the last day, a special initiative will be launched for the first time in Europe...
