Tell Us How Your Company Supports Critical Infrastructure Sectors

The Department of Homeland Security Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS/CISA) has issued guidance for states, localities, and the private sector on what constitutes an essential business. Identified are 16 critical infrastructure sectors designated as essential that must remain operational during the COVID-19 response. Similarly, the USPS has identified mail/mailing services as essential.

While each state and locality may apply its own definition of an “essential business,” the DHS/CISA guidance is often adopted as a baseline. Printing Industries of America is working in concert with DHS/CISA to clarify guidance regarding the supply chain relationship of print and packaging manufacturing to critical infrastructure sectors.

We need your help to strengthen the definition of print/packaging as an essential businesses! Please provide specific examples of the print/packaging orders you are filling or typically fill that support the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This information will be used to bolster the efforts of Printing Industries of America and its affiliated organizations to promote print to be designated an essential business at both the federal and state levels. Thank you!
